Congrats Lauren and Grant
White for looking and feeling GREAT on your wedding day! As a couple, you were as committed to Boot Camp as you are to each other in the months prior to your big day. We were always entertained by your banter back and forth! We especially loved Lauren's reaction when Grant announced he would get a golf cart to chase around their kids later in life due to his laziness...
 
Well no laziness yet! Lauren your toned arms and tiny middle look stunning in your dress, and Grant I think your pants are falling off in this picture because you're so skinny! Thanks for coming to us to help you get ready and we're glad you're still showing up post-cruise!

Congrats Mr and Mrs Todd Fowler! We can hardly believe your transformation Amber. You are like a walking advertisement for the Studio with your buff arms and toned legs! We are so proud that with your hard work and determination you were able to reach your goals  for your wedding day. We are so proud of you and so glad to have been a part of your success!  
 
And Todd? We won't hold it against you that the only time you've stepped foot inside the Studio was to surprise your better half with a Gift Certificate...Maybe someday she'll rub off on you and we'll see you in a yoga class!

Two big events on one great date will mean some serious fun in Columbia Tusculum! First off, the CT Home Tour will be bringing in hundreds of people to view our trendy neighborhood to see the beauty of our historic district! At the same time, the CT Business Association will be hosting the first annual Fall Festival at Columbia Square. So I gave a presentation this week to City of Cincinnati employees on Health and Wellness. I was trying to get a message across to everyone in the extremely diverse room that despite the insane amount of information out there, the best theory when it comes to healthy living in my opinion is to keep it simple stupid...Here a few suggestions on how you can keep it simple (and get a sense of humor while you're doing it).
 
1. "Work out first thing in the morning before your body realizes what you're doing." -Marsha Doble
May we suggest AM Bootcamp?
 
2. No time to exercise? Web MD recommends the following exercise you can do at your desk..."Pump your arms up and down as fast as you can while sitting at your desk for 30 seconds...Then tap your feet at a very rapid pace like a football drill for the next 30 seconds...Rest and Repeat."
 
I would like to dare you to try these at the office...

Ever wonder what those meatheads are talking about when the speak about pyramid and drop sets?? You are not alone.
 
Pyramid sets are lifting sets where your gradually increase your weight, achieve your maximum, and then slowly lower your weight back down to the original weight.
 
Drop sets are starting at your maximum weight and then gradually dropping your weight while trying to keep the same amount of reps.
 
So next time you're in the gym, lean over and ask your local Hulk to spot you on your next drop set. I'm sure he'll be impressed by your 7lb-ers...
